DoorBooster was born out of a simple frustration: there was no easy way to reward tenants who paid on time. We fixed that.
Our Story
DoorBooster started in 2023 when our co-founders — a property manager and a fintech engineer — realized that millions of renters were making on-time payments every month with zero credit benefit. Meanwhile, landlords had no tool to reward that behavior or encourage it.
Credit bureaus had the infrastructure to accept rental data, but the path to reporting was expensive, complex, and only accessible to large institutional landlords. We built DoorBooster to change that — making 3-bureau reporting available to any landlord or storage operator, at any scale, for a price that makes sense.
Today, DoorBooster serves hundreds of independent landlords and self-storage operators across the country, helping them build stronger tenant relationships and reduce late payments by giving tenants a financial reason to pay on time.
